Superyard’s Membership Continues to Grow

A quick note to share our gratitude for the phenomenal growth of the Superyard community, with over a thousand businesses and sole traders joining us since we opened our virtual doors three short months ago. This is a fantastic result because the more members we have, the better the chance of sourcing the specific material you’re looking for, and the higher probability of redistributing the materials that you don’t need anymore.

Our aim here at Superyard is to do our part to help Australian construction and building businesses thrive – not easy in these current conditions.

If each of us can find a small parcel of stock that we no longer need and post it on Superyard, another business might be able to finish a project and save a few dollars from having to buy it brand new. Please remember, Superyard does not charge any commission or take any fees for the transactions you make with another member – we’re simply here to help you all connect with each other to trade your unused materials.

A few weeks ago I asked for some feedback on the types of materials you’d like to see on Superyard, and I’d like to ask that question again – if you have a spare minute, please head over to https://superyard.com.au/feedback/ and let me know what you’d like to see more of (or just reply to this email if that’s easier for you).

For example, we’ve heard of shortages in 6”x3” timber products, and we’ve reached out to our supplier network to see if there’s any stock that can be offered to our membership at special prices.
